Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
- 3 hands full green beans (approximately 60)
- 6 thick higher-welfare pork bacon strips
- hand of full sliced almonds
Preheat a heavy bottomed skillet (that has a lid) over medium-low heat until really, really hot.
In the meantime, wash beans and cut off very ends. Dry beans very well.
Wrap 1 bacon strip very tightly around about 10 green beans.
Add wrapped beans to HOT skillet and brown from every side (about 2-3 minutes per side).
Add a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, take off lid and turn wrapped beans one last time, cover again and cool for an additional 3-4 minutes or until beans reached desired tenderness.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Serve hot.
