Bacon Wrapped Green Beans


  • 3 hands full green beans (approximately 60)
  • 6 thick higher-welfare pork bacon strips
  • hand of full sliced almonds


  1. Preheat a heavy bottomed skillet (that has a lid) over medium-low heat until really, really hot.

  2. In the meantime, wash beans and cut off very ends. Dry beans very well.

  3. Wrap 1 bacon strip very tightly around about 10 green beans.

  4. Add wrapped beans to HOT skillet and brown from every side (about 2-3 minutes per side).

  5. Add a lid and cook for 4-5 minutes, take off lid and turn wrapped beans one last time, cover again and cool for an additional 3-4 minutes or until beans reached desired tenderness.

  6. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Serve hot.
