Coffee Drinkers - Raise Your Cup!
Science now points to the fact that those who drink coffee live longer then those on the non-caffeinated side of the isle. Researchers have found that caffein can actually "counteract the inflammatory reactions that lead to cardiovascular disease later in life," says lead author David Furman, Ph.D. of the Institute for Immunity, Transplantation, and Infection at Stanford University.
Dr. Furman and his team refrained from the study of coffee drinking mice in this research. Instead, they analyzed people. They sought to determine the exact inflammatory processes that cause heart problems later in life. In so doing, they studied two groups: one of healthy adults between 20-30 years old. The other group was that of healthy adults 60 years old and older.
Their findings show a correlation between caffeine consumption and longevity.
Specifically, the findings show, “An underlying inflammatory process, which is associated with aging, is not only driving cardiovascular disease but is, in turn, driven by molecular events that we may be able to target and combat,” according to co-senior author Mark Davis, Ph.D., also of the Institute for Immunity, Transplantation and Infection at Stanford.
For coffee drinkers, longevity is yet another reason to continue with the morning indulgence! As a advocate, however, of living a clean and keto lifestyle, we must add a note to you to please bypass the sugar in the coffee, and enjoy the richness of the wholesome, natural flavor and keep the chemicals out of it, or all bets are off!
Keep in mind that different grinds and measurements will help adjust the flavor of the coffee to your taste, and that pre-ground grocery store coffee in a can is stale before it even gets to the store. Freshness is definitely NOT "locked in!" You're better off to go to a store that allows you to grind your own fresh beans.

If you've never tasted the difference, you really owe it to yourself! It's like a fast food burger versus a nice burger on the home grill! No comparison! You deserve the best, after all!
Several studies have already pointed out the health benefits of drinking coffee. One study, for example, discovered that people who drank one to five cups of coffee per day had a lower risk of all-cause mortality than their coffee-abstaining counterparts. However, these previous studies did not pinpoint why coffee drinkers actually live longer.
